What is a bodega?

The term ‘bodega’ has different meanings in different places. It generally refers to a cellar or shop selling wine and food in Spanish-speaking countries. Within hispanic communities in the US - especially in New York - it has come to mean a corner convenience store.

bəˈdeɪɡə/ Noun

Paladar’s bodega sells a range of wines, spirits, craft chocolate, coffee and other food products – all of which originate from Latin America.

We also offer occasional wine tasting events and food-and-wine pairing masterclasses in the bodega.

In the evening, you can dine in the bodega at our VIP Chef’s table. This is ideal for small parties of between six and eight guests to enjoy a dinner right in front of the kitchen pass counter. Please call or email us to book this table.
